Hi all,

Just popped up onto Dartmoor today to get some pics of the local area.

On our way to Dartmoor Jail at Princetown - looking back down the road:

Our stop along the way - The Warren House Inn just outside Postbridge, this is apparently the third highest Inn in England:

One pint of 'Doom Bar' later, we head back to the car to make our way home:


Only to find some lambs that steadfastly refused to get out of our way:

It made me laugh - the number plate must've been nearly touching the lamb's butt before it would move - I nearly had to get out & 'drop kick' it over the hedge

...did it rain, after...

T'was on/off showers all day, but only light rain.

I LOVE The Warren Inn - every time my family visit Dartmoor we always stop there - such a beautiful place too. Nice to walk around, too...

Only Haytor on our way past it - I wanted to go to Hound Tor (of 'Hound of the Baskervilles' fame) - simply because the van selling food there is called the 'Hound of the Basket Meals' & it makes me laugh.
