The most beautiful plane in the world.

Yep, to me, this is the most beautiful plane in the world.

Many of you will think, okay, this deadkennedy is a nice guy, but calling an old 152 the most beautiful plane is a little over the top. There must be something wrong with the Belgian air or maybe he's just drunk.  ;D

Well I'm not drunk and the air down here is just fine (I think).

I just got back from my first PPL lesson and this was the plane I flew. The instructor had to cut the lesson short because of the heavy turbulence, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Only the taxiing part was a bit difficult, but I'll get the hang of that after a few more lessons.

Well here she is, photo was taken just after landing at my home airport of Zwartberg-Genk (EBZW). The extra exhaust was installed to keep the noise down, as the airport is located in an residential area.

Cheers, Frank.

I've certainly seen uglier 152s. But that muffler... good idea, but ugly.
I know how you feel- I fondly remember a little red 152 called N6586S that was my first trainer.

Congratulations with your PPL. If you don't know where to go on a sunny sunday afternoon, come visit us at Zoersel (EBZR)...always welcome but mind the gliders!  ;)

Only downside was the legroom. I'm rather tall (just under 2 meters) and my legs kept hitting the yoke. On tuesday I'm trying out a 172. I'm just hoping the weather calms down a bit.

It was only my first lesson. But when we come to the navigation part I just might pay you guys a visit.  ;)

Thank's for the replies, Frank.
