For the Heli boys,.......

Since I know nothing of whirlybirds, I looked this one up for info........it's a Eurocopter AS-350B-2, I believe.....

Our new medi-vac chopper here is one of those. We'll get another one soon to phase out the last of the Mi-2s 8)

DHFS use a lot of very similar ones at Shawbury, we get loads flying over our place.

I see the model daily as it's the chopper of the hospital I work near...

What is that contraption in the last shot? Some towing-equipment?

nice shots ken...speaking from a weekend-fs-designer point of view, i think you should gather up all the quick studies you've done of all the various models at your fild and upload them to SimV (ask pete if he'd let you) for reference...as in reference for designers. its real hard to find shots like that ;)

Kris, its hard to say exactly what the suspended apparatus may be for specifically, but in general, I think it's some sort of sling mount for carrying oversized loads which may not fit into the A/C or may need to be taken on as a load suspended from below the C of G due to weight ?  ???   ;D
