Didn't realize robins were this clever. this guy was carefully following just behind the arc of the sprinkler...
So he could preen his feathers in the wet grass without getting soaked.
This displaying male pigeon was determined to either mate with or beat the hell out of anything and anyone. I thought I was under attack.
I was starting to get the feeling he was stuck in "puff mode", and was looking for help!
Still at it when I walked away; he next approached a guy and his dog. ::)
