My home county...

Me and a friend went for a little drive through the rural areas of our home county, Northumberland, and I snapped a few shots. This was a Friday so low level flying wasn't seen but it is a common sight over these areas (there is a big radar dome they attack not too far from where these were taken as well)...

Nice shots Steve - that little hamlet in the fourth pic looks really tranquil - I like it a lot.

Beautiful scenery.. Is that an aquaduct or viaduct in No.4 ?... I can just picture myself steering a narrowboat past those ruins.  8)

Lovley place I helped plant some hedges up around there last year an the low flying was amazing made the day very intresting I also spotted two apache helicopters up there and two harriers doing some intresting manouvers looked to me like dog fighting not sure though wish I lived nearer :)

You guys talk seeing lots of low flying here, but all I remember from "way back when", was a high-flying FD-2......... 8)
