A whole day of flying!! part 2

We left Tangier and climbed north to about 5500; the broken deck of wind-shredded clouds was at about 12000. a little gusty near the surface, but smooth where we were cruising.









Spring is almost completely sprung now... more and more green.






We stopped at Cape May (site of the former Wildwood NAS and its incredible warbird museum) so Marco could top off "just in case". It was a bit more expensive than at 47N, but I'd have done the same thing, probably. Plus, it's always fun landing there.







The place was deserted, but quite a few beauties on the ramp.

A great day, and a great flight. I paid for lunch, but my offer to pitch in for fuel was refused. I guess that's fair, as I scanned the sky while Marco got some hood time on the way down, and it's just good to have some company while flying....

  Those houses look a liittle to close to the shoreline for me to want to own.  Homeowners insurance must be real high!!!

Not really... a little bumpy down low (out of the NW, of course, which is why things were a little squirrely at 47N), and for sure it'd have been bumpy passing through that cloud deck, but between 3000 and 6000 it was pretty smooth.

I dunno about flood/hurricane insurance,but what about "all those little airplanes falling out of the sky" ?

As for Marco's legs: they're not so bad...be nice!!
