EBOS today ... part II

Postby Omag 2.0 » Fri Apr 14, 2006 12:40 pm

I only stayed for 45 minutes, so not a lot of action appart from the MK landing...

A sad DC-8 rusting away... It was sold a while ago, but they didn't come pick her up yet...

A departing Gulfstream V

A light trainer... called a Grob... never heared of that...

And an active DC-8 waiting for some cargo. A Boeing 737 stands on the right of it.

Cheers,

That doesn't look a bad spot. Shame about the high fence _ & the murky weather. You're definitely improving. ;)

Grob G115 'Tutor'. It replaced the Bulldog as the RAF primary trainer. http://www.raf.mod.uk/equipment/tutor.html
Charlie probably did his basic training on it.

Well...

The fences are all around, but there are gates with nice big spaces in between the bars. My spot was at an angle to the apron... made it a bit difficult...

An other thing I learned today:

Always clean your memory-card, you don't wanna see "card full" while a plane approaches... not good for the hearth... ;D
