After seeing the Snowbirds twice more today, it was quite surprising to see 5 Ryan Navion rare old birds fly over in line abreast formation and do a fighter break to land at our small airpark.......here is what I found when I got there 20 mins later.........

Dinner was waiting, so it was this one last shot and off to meet Wendy

Fraser Blues... I've seen those guys perform.  I saw them do a three ship airshow one time, but I think (not 100% sure) it is actually a four ship team.

The do some pretty cool stuff with opposing maneuvers.  I saw them at the Arlington Fly In a few years ago.

The Navion was a good aeroplane, never owned one but it was not from the lack of trying.

I think the aircraft was designed to fulfill the needs for those fighter pilots who were released after the end of the Second World War.

I don't know if you remember seeing the all metal (not painted) Navion out of Kingcity or not Ken.  
It is so long ago I can't remember the owners name but they used to fly it into Maple quite a bit.

For a large single she got out of Kingcity really well.
