Weekend Randoms
Posted: Tue Apr 04, 2006 11:08 pmWell I had a scary one today. Was in the local shopping center snapping away. I notice a Police Officer in the parking lot. Snap a few more and noticed there were now two. Snap a few more and noticed there were now three. Then I see them all moving. I start taking some more shots and here a car pull up behind me. Well they had me surrounded. One in back, one in front and one with the front of his car pointed at me. All I could think was Holy Sh*t!!! 
Here they thought I was casing the two banks I was parked near and taken pictures of them. I told them what I was doing and they could not grasp what spotting was and why you would do it.
Then one of the Cops said " Oh, you mean like bird watching?: I said yes but, with bigger and faster birds. Well they walk away shaken their heads and I left.
They did ask for my licence and reminded me of 9/11 and that the country is on alert. Now I'am waiting to see the black cars parked on my street!!!
I think the Regional in the background of the second picture is the one in my last shot.
