Now, for the real reason we were out! Jaguar action at RAF Coningsby 8). My camera isn't really up to the job of aerial photos, but I did my best!

11 Jaguars, 3 Tornados, 1 Harrier. No decent enough pics of the Harrier unfortunately.

The first of 11 Jaguars to take off.

Then, as we made our way round to runway 26, warm and sunny weather changed into this:

Probably the closest thing I'd ever seen to a sandstorm... The Tornado GR4 returned as we we driving up. The lights flashing meant that it was soon to land. Unsurprisingly, it didn't.

So, without waiting around, off to Newark Air Museum it was!

Shame about the weather. Still, you got some nice moody shots. ;)

Really dissapointed I didn't make it as expected (we had to turn back near York!) so it's interesting to see what I missed :)

Shame. The weather cleared up quite nicely a bit further south.

Nice shots Tweek. Lovely Jags, and a Tonka now in 41(F) Sqn markings... :)

Yes, saw a pick of that the other day too... Looks a bit strange as it got the whole fin treatment...
