Yippy, camera fixed soon enough, so I just had to pass by Ostend today! Pretty impressive visitor, an Antonov An-120-100 Ruslan...

Now that's what I call a BIG plane!



Close up on the nose-section...



I was happy as a kid, shooting pictures, when all of the sudden 2 bangs sounded... The bird-repellant canons! Anotherone was coming in... Had buildings behind me, so it was kinda hard to know what came down... Snapped this shot... Saudi-Arabian Cargo 747 - blurred again... what is it with me and SA birds....



So, back to the main attraction, to show it makes a DC-8 look like a toy-plane...



One last shots... Look at those engines...



I was glad to get aquainted with this lady...

Wish i could have gotten some pics half as good as those of the 124 that was parked at KEWR a while back!
And the 747 looks fine a little blurry... think of it as a "Vaseline shot"...
