LOL!!
I was rummaging through my medical records in search of my birth certificate, and came across something I'd forgotten I have:
I was booked and printed the day I was born, the hour, in fact (well, maybe):

Hard to believe I once had such cute little toofies... for scale, see my mother's thumbprint between them...! :D

They take prints of your feet?
I'd hate to think of the differance now. From tiny baby feet to the size 13's I currently sport. :D

I have no idea why, or if they still do that there... I think I'm gonna get some ink and make prints of my current pair of beat-up old dogs... wonder if there'll be any resemblance?
Are footprints as unique as handprints?

When my little sisters were born the nurse said they take foot prints, and not handprints incase the baby decides to suck on it's thumb, it won't be eating ink.

We need a bigger piece of paper! ;D

BTW: Morrissey? Related to the Smiths singer by any chance?

Well, I was referring to the double consonants. Plus you didn't count the "y". I do believe in this case that it is not a vowel.

Oh man, I'm going all Hagar on you. :P

Okay, what's going on here... I could have sworn you said "syllables".
and following an "e", a "Y" is a vowel, I think. :P
But yes, it is not the same without the double consonants (the only correct spelling, that is).
But it's not as bad as my "real" last name:
 Bukhofzer. ;D

How did you end up with Morrissey? If you don't mind my asking.

My father was sort of adopted by his mother's brother and his wife... Morrissey was his mother's maiden name, so that became his legal handle.  His father's name was Bukhofzer.
Weirdest part is that I only found out about this a few years ago... my father never mentioned it to me.  ???

..would you really want to be in grade school with the name Bukhofzer? :P Lord, I know Tiedeman is bad enough. ;D

Try having Tim as a first name. It doesn't sound that bad, until you hear "Tim the toolman" every day. ::)
