A Staten Island ferry chugs across the harbor:
In Battery Park, there are a number of memorials and other statuary. This is the East Coast Memorial; the many names on those 4 pillars are those of all the U.S. service personnel who perished, in the West Atlantic alone, in WWII.
Too many names...
This interesting statue is a tribute to the veterans of the Korean "police action"...
