What, no rain today ?

Finally after having rain almost every day since the start of the new year, we get a lighter and less "wet" sky, so it was off to the airpark for me to see how things were progressing on some friends homebuilts.....after seeing Frank, Peter and Dale working on their projects, I decided it was time to do the walk back to the car and was greeted by the arrival of a Republic Seabee......not a very frequent flier in many skies, we have a couple of them in the area........here is final approach and taxi back to the flight office, with a "full reverse pitch" back-up maneuver to cap it off......

That is one goofy airplane. :o ;)

Nice shots, I've never heard of the reverse pitch back-up trick before. :)

Nice shots Ken. Looks like it needs a coat of paint though:)

Ahhh... great pics of one of my favorite types. Surprising they are so rare now; I understand they're rugged beasts.
The beta-pitch feature is very handy in the water, I hear... and would that be an original Franklin under the cowling? Now that's rare!!
