Nice fresh airplane; lucky you.
Y'know, as boring as the area may be, as a pilot you gotta love all that big, flat, open land... must be very comforting. Every parcel shown looks like an airstrip to me... ;D
You never know... even in a nice new Diamond.
Probably a lot of tall towers, though, I'll bet.   :o

Jake you were close the katana is a c2 model I am a C1 model which is an eclipse, the diff. is basically diff prop and the C2 has no back/side window ports. the katana has a hoffmen prop while I have a sensenich prop.
Yeah Texas is modtly open land so its good that I fly around open land just in case of an engine failure....KNOCK ON WOOD(BOOM BOOM). The Eclipse is like a glider, when your on final and at 60kts it floats like a bee but if u flare to damn early like some people here at the school, it'll punch like a bee(bite u in the A$$).

Right around our area is great too Rotty, whenever I go up I always see roughly a gazillion places to put her down.

Just enjoy the flying Apoo! Nice pics 8)

Great pics Mr. Apoo - can you do me a favour though - can you ask them to drop the 2nd 'T' out of 'TSTC-Waco Flight School'??

TSC-Waco Flight School looks so much better IMHO ;D ;D

Cheers,

TSC.
