BAe Hawk 102d

Postby F3Hadlow » Tue Jan 10, 2006 7:59 pm

Was just looking back through some of my earlier photographs and rediscovered these. Thought I would share some shots of this BAe aircraft since it isn't such a common sight (was the only time I've seen it in action)...

Those misseles on the wings look very deadly, although their dummy's and filled with airshow smoke?....And really slick photo's, steve. ;) ;D ;D

Bizarrely the only place I saw it display was at Old Warden, not the first place you'd expect a state of the art BAES operated aircraft... :)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Great shots! I like the subtle vortex effect on top of the wings- in the first shot! So cool! 8)

Wow, aren't we prepared......  :-/  ;D
Thank You Eurofighter Typhoon and F-35 JSF! ;)

Besides that, wonderful shots F3, not often i see a 102d - all I see (every day) are those T1's. :)

Well as long as we ask any potential invaders to wait, a few more months, just to give the RAF time to get the Typhoon ready we'll be fine. No point in waiting for the JSF, theres a very high chance now it wont even go ahead.

Why does that bother you? Obviously the intention is stop the invading armies with a display of fantastic aerobatics. ;D
