Jolly nice too. ;)

What's with those stupid flags draped all over the place? I suppose it's to attract the kiddies. Rather spoils the atmosphere. ::)

I thought the same thing...

Nice pictures. How about a prone-pilot Meteor for FSX? Still think the TSR2 would look great out on a flight line today. Awesome aeroplane.

Nice to see some Space, sorry, Air Cadets getting a nice bit of history too. :)

Great shots:)
Doug, those flags are part of the kids learning zone. Simplifies many parts of flight to make it interesting for the younger generation. Its a good idea if it gets kids interested in my opinion.

That reminds me. I've seen it flying. I wonder how many here can say that? :P :D

Well I certainly can't. Whilst I remember here is a link to a thread showing photos of the current predicament of the (only remaining in the world, anywhere) Valiant... ::)

What the heck are they playing at? Surely they can come up with a few tarps to cover it up. >:( ::)

Exactly. The RAFM is deservedly a bit of stick about it, and their apparent inability to open the Grahame-White hangar at Hendon with any consistancy... Why they couldn't have waited to perform the swap with the Liberator I don't know (I believe it was something to do with the availability of the RAF's aircraft recoevery team). They could have protected it better though...

Get that damn Valiant indoors, and put the bloody thing together! I'm not gonna visit Cosford again til that is in one piece, that would probably be the main reason I'd go!

But at least it's nice to see some of them all British types still around :) There's just something fascinating about those old experimental types.
