So far so good. Grumpy's Mystery Tours isn't lost just yet. ::)
Before we head for sustinence in the village this is far as we got on our little walk in Part 1. I forget what it is now but it looks like a converted house of some kind.

Another view of the pretty little Priest's House. I read it wasn't always inhabited by priests. It's not open today so we can't go in & find out.

I'm starving so it's time to seek out a local refreshment rooms. No McBurger's here thank goodness. Perish the thought. :o
Here's Alfriston main High Street. This is typical of how many small villages in Sussex used to look. The main High Street with shops on either side.

Looking back the way we've come.

After a nice meal & on our way back to the car park. This house is right at the end of the village. The road heads back the way we came.

This is where the South Downs meets the sea so it's time to head south before heading for home along the coast.

Woody beat me to it but that road is normal width for villages like this. With the houses & shops being built so close to the road it's not possible to widen them.
