Nemo's New Toy

Postby Mynameisnemo » Sun Dec 11, 2005 3:06 pm

I finally managed to get some decent shots of my new bike (new to me, 1987 model) which is a Suzuki RG125....

For the Age of the Bike, its in very good condition just needs a little bit of work on the exhaust and a little bit or a repair on........(rather not say at the moment).
Other than that its a brilliant bike to ride, its got a bit of power comming out of its 125cc engine, and handles very well on the road and even in slippery conditions...... except when theres diesel and oil on the road, but thats another story.....

In the US, if they did big L's, every student driver would be made fun of.

L=loser lol.

Hi Nemo...!

Welcome to the Club... 8)...!

It looks as tho' someone has re-sprayed the bike, no manufacturers name in the petrol tank, and fairings...!

A couple of tips...Remember that the tyres are very thin, (not much grip), so take care on wet/icy roads...
...and...
Adjust the rear chain, and regularly lubricate the chain and sprockets!!
Beware on diesel on roundabouts, especially after a shower of rain...!!
Take care, and go easy with the right wrist....
....using the throttle, I mean... :o...!
LOL...!

Cheers Mate, keep you eyes peeled, and have fun...!

Yep the previous owner had it resprayed a few months ago, and tbh i like it the way it is, keeps people guessing what type of bike it is when i stop. (the S is actually hidden under the Front L plate, and you would know its a suzuki by the stickers on the front forks)

I am already aware of the danger of diesel on roundabouts after yesterday but thats all i'm saying for now.

I think it looks cool in all black.  Once you get rid of the L, wear a lot of black, a black helmet with a black visor, and youll be Bond, Nemo Bond lol

Gonna get 6 rigid xenon high-beam lights on my landie roofrack to give these suicide pilots the idea that there is more on the road than just them

This is the damage thats caused when going slow round a roundabout at 15mph and you hit a patch of diesel................
Image

Yep i've already come off it, and done this but alls well, the parts on order (should be here in a couple of days),  and then just got to sort the front brake out. But apart from the damage, the bike still starts and won't take long to fix up,

Nemo.......looking out for diesel and oil on the road......

Diesel is VERY dangerous for bikers. I know as my first big "off" was just what Fozzer said...
I can still dislocate my left shoulder at will and my neck makes some strange noises.....
