OK, well I mentioned this to a couple people a couple weeks ago but I have been so busy with school I haven't been able to post the photos until now.

As many of you know, I am a huge football fan-especially college football.

LOL... the root of "fan" is "fanatic", and you are proof, sir...
;D

And your sister, too... surprised we don't see your Dad there, with no shirt on and his belly painted green and yellow...it's gotta run in the family...
:D

I don't understand why everyone thinks the Pac-10 is so weak.

GO NOLES!!!!!

Noles?

You mean the team that has absolutely no right to be in the Orange bowl?

My man Paterno is gonna destroy em ;D ;D ;D

The PAC-10 is a good conference, but the best conference from top to bottom is the Big 10.  In many other conferences the gap between the best team on the top and the worst on the bottom is HUGE.  Not so in the Big 10.

Great shots Richie!

btw I don't have any problems with West coast teams, I hate every team from the south :)

LOL Richie, great shots. and nice seats too. You got me beat on how far I would go in supporting a team.
I'd be careful what you say about southern teams Beef, FSU are a damn good team despite their record, and will likely show PSU what real football is all about ;)
I'd put the SEC division as the best, a little biased yes, but when you consider how closely matched all teams are and how good they all are, with the exception of the vols this year. ::)

That, I would definitely disagree with.  They are working with their worst team in a decade right now, they have lost to more unranked teams in the last two years than in the previous ten combined.

PSU held Ohio to 10 pts, I don't think they'll have much of a problem with the noles.  FSU didn't win against VT as much as VT choked-it was a fluke game.

I would agree with Craig on this, this season I feel that the SEC is the strongest.  With Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Alabama and even Florida playing well this year you really can't argue that in my opinion.  Plus, Tennessee is much better than their season showed and South Carolina will be good over the next few years.

I believe that the Big-12 is way to overrated at this point.  The only good team they have is Texas.  Texas Tech is pretty good and Oklahoma seems to be improving, but I think the Big-12 is getting more credit than they deserve at the moment.

The Big-10 is pretty solid but not as solid as they have been in recent years.  Both Penn State and Ohio State are good teams but thats really it.  Northwestern had a good run for a while and Wisconsin played good football at times.  But I feel that both Michigan and Minnesota were disappointing.

The Pac-10 is much stronger than they get credit for.  USC has been #1 for what seems like forever and Oregon has had a heck of a season (only losing to USC).  UCLA also played a very good season finishing 9-2 (somehow they lost to Arizona).  I"m not really sure what happened to Arizona State, they have a good team but seemed to collapse this year for some reason.  I think that Washington State will improve greatly over the next couple years and possibly compete for a conference title-they seem to be getting stronger each week.  And finally, Arizona looks to me to be a team that is up and coming.  They have a good coach and a good system in place and a very good looking young QB taking over.  I would expect to see good things from Arizona in the next few years, maybe even a return to their position form the later 1990s.

Whoa whoa whoa.  I just noticed this.

THE SEMINOLES ARE GOING TO SHOW JOE PATERNO AND PENN STATE WHAT FOOTBALL IS ALL ABOUT??!?

The bold words are forever associated with eachother.

Aww common Craig I think your Britishness is getting the better of you! :P ;D

And Richie, I'm not knocking your argument, but UCLA didn't just lose to Arizona, they were absolutely destroyed.  It was a very odd game.  I believe it was the same week The canes beat up VT. (I remember it because I was in Penn State that weekend for the PSU-Wisconsin game)

Hey I was just messin' with ya kid!!  USC is a GREAT team, but they are going for back-to-back titles, not a three-peat. LSU won the title two years ago  ;D But i do think the pac-10 is weak.   USC is in their own class right now, oregon is decent, and no one else in the conference can play defense. None of the teams in the pac-10 have the defensive speed to keep up w/ the likes of FSU or Miami. FSU has EVERY right to be going to a BCS bowl. They won their conference. Isn't that what you're supposed to do? Blame your conference for not having a championship game. I don't want to argue about this on a flight sim forum though. I really was just picking at you richie. No harm intended.  ;D--- and yes, the noles will DOMINATE penn state!

Oregon is a perfect example of why the BCS is wrong!! But honestly, no one is going to argue that Oregon should be in a bowl instead of Notre Dame because more people would rather watch Notre Dame; which means more advertising dollars. I don't think we're going to see a real playoff system in 1-A because of the money involved w/ the bowls. It sucks for all of us fans, but there's nothing we can do about it.

But that does nothing to help the credibility of the system. And if thats the attitude taken by the BCS or whomever decides these things. Then various colleges would have a fair argument for a lawsuit.

And Beef, I have heard it in the past, how a team who looks so good and would play a really good game, only to get blown out in a bowl game.

I agree that we probably won't see a playoff in the near future, but I think it would be better (no matter how much I love the bowls).
