So in we went, have a look at this for a garage! I'm happy for someone to name these for me, they go a little beyond my knowledge




Fairey Gannet, seen better days but is apparently a slow burning rebuild

Looks kind of different from here though, is this the one expected at the BoB show I wonder? Not very far from completion we were told, just some engine work and a spray job (I'm sure there's more that that, but you know....). The Seafire



That could have made the day for me, except we then went on to Duxford, more shots to follow later.

Unfortunately seeing these made us too late to meet up with Doug and Roger, however maybe that would have been too much excitement for one day  ;)

Ahh, so this is where Kennet Aviation live now...

First shot, Piston Provost, Douglas Skyraider (formerly owned by The Fighter Collection at Duxford) and one of their Hunters...

Second shot, the Fairey Gannet, hopefully to fly again soon...

...and finally their Seafire XV... Looks a year of so from completion, but definately worth waiting for!

The Seafire is looking a lot better than when I last saw her! Lovely stuff
