Showing off my Princess

Here are some pictures of my Princess doing the thing she loves.  She love ballet and has been dancing
since she was 2-1/2.  She has been in ten full length ballet productions in the last five years.  She has
danced with dancers from the Pennsylvania ballet and was invited to audition with the P.A. Ballet for their Nutcracker.  She declined this year because she just started the 6th grade and a new school and didn't
want to miss the time that the ballet reqiured for the shows.  She told the PA Ballet this and they respected
her for it and told her she would be invited again. She will be doing the Nutcracker with the dance company
she is with now.

She has dreams of going to Julliard and is doing everything she thinks she needs to help her get in.
She is a straight "A" student and is on the school newspaper.  She is also in her school's Drama club
and is a soloist in the school chorus.  I pray she gets a full scholarship to Julliard so I can retire on her College fund that I started the day she was born.

I am very proud of her and enjoy watching her dance.  I believe her when she tells her Mother and I
that was born to dance. :)

Classical dance is a tough racket- my mother and her sister were both into it (my aunt made it into the NYC Ballet), and I got to hear all about it.... ;D Makes for a short career, too; but the potential income is pretty good, considering... and retired dancers can stay involved their whole lives: teaching, choreography, etc.
But with all that passion, talent, smarts, and lots of hard work, who knows...?
Best of luck to her!!

Indeed!  She will do what ever it take to suceed at something.  My Wife and I have to tell to ease up
sometimes because she gets to intense.  We tell she has to enjoy her childhood and she tells us she is.
She tells us that this is what she enjoys.  So we back her up 110% on anything she feels she needs to do.
Most of her friends dance also so, she is always with them.
