Randoms from NYC part 1
Realized I had a bunch of weird snaps from a little mission I made about a month ago, taking the company van from Westchester all the way down to lower Manhattan to pick up some bid drawings from the printer. Commercial plates, so I had to take the slow route, down Second Ave.
It was a beautiful day, and I saw a few interesting things...
Yes, there is a rose in Spanish Harlem... many of them, in fact.

The Queensborough Bridge at 59th Street (that thing on the left is a cable-car that goes to Roosevelt Island, in the East River between Manhattan and Queens, for those who don't know) :

Decided to cut across town on 14th St. This is the famous Papaya King, where they make their own hot dogs. Wish I had time to stop for a coupla dogs and a papaya smoothie.... if you like a good hot dog, I highly recommend this place.

Nothing is sacred to the dogs of Manhattan- here a beagle risks the wrath of the Almighty in front of an old church. Note the owner's bag: there are stiff tickets awaiting those who don't clean up after their canine overlords in the city...

Finally heading south on Washington St., near West St.... here's a first: an electric vehicle that's apparently privately registered. Cool. It'd be nice to see more of these in Manhattan, and fewer crummy old cars. And electric cabs, and buses...
