For those wondering this aircraft made a bumpy landing and it looked like he might go over completely. Some how got it back right after a few leans.
There are more to come but i will let Doug post his aswell. Although this was my best ever attempt with my camera.

That's a nice shot Craig. Glad you managed to get it. Well done. ;)

Wasn't a bad landing at all. The wind was gusty & he landed slightly out of wind. A perfect 3-pointer. It seemed to hit a bump & a gust of wind must have got under the wings & it slowly slowly tipped onto the opposite wingtip. Chief pilot Andy Sephton was flying it & I thought he did a good job.

I was talking to someone after the show who suggested it might have been better to wheel it on. Those WWI types can be a tad tricky at the best of times.

PS. No point in me trying to get a shot. By the time my camera warmed up it was all over.

LOL.
Seriously though, he had his nose stuck in the program. He introduced one aircraft incorrectly, that Charlie noticed as it was taking off. And it got worse ::)

I was wondering that all day & just realised who he is. :o ::) http://www.jeremyspake.com/theman.html

In fact I quite liked him in that 'Airport' series but he doesn't know a lot about aeroplanes, not this sort of aeroplane anyway. Unfortunately this is not uncommon with air show commentators & seems to be getting worse.
