Spitfires in the mist

Spitfires in the mist at Duxford today.

It was like this all day and the only things that flew were a Chinook and a Chipmunk ::)
I'll post a few more shots, but I don't have anything much to post. Oh well, there is always the October show.

Oh dear. Worse than I expected. :'( Glad see you made the best of it. Very original shots.

Oh well, there is always the October show.

I hope so. The IWM has promised to offer a discount to anyone who paid to get in today so if the weather is fit, I'll be there.

It does add a certain feel to them I agree, but I'd have traded that to see them all flying me thinks ;)

Wonderful shots Roger...different and unique ;)

I always liked walking the Flight Line in the early morning hours, misty, fog or rain.  A certain impression from each individual aircraft seemed to radiate from them. :)

A Spitfire looks good in any weather. Thanks for all the comments chaps. I will post the final lot of Spitfire pics tomorrow morning.
