Biggin Hill 2005 Pt 3

Postby Hagar » Sat Sep 03, 2005 6:42 pm

Last for now. I need to get some shuteye. Shoreham tomorrow.... err....I mean today.

New girls on the team. They're unidentical 19 year-old twins, both very attractive.

Did they touch hands? The crowd said they did. I was too busy taking the shot to notice. Very clever flying.

Now this chap is something else. :o Remarkable display by a Turkish pilot with his highly modified Super S2S named Purple Violet. Never seen anything quite like it.

These chaps are good & I've seen a few aerobatic display teams in my time. No photo could possibly do them justice. Apparently they're both 747 captains. This is what they do for fun. ;)

Okay you are forgiven Doug ;D

Real aeroplanes with the wings where they are supposed to be and a propeller as well ;)

Wonderful wonderful shots :)

Thanks for posting them.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

The Red Bull pair are impressive, I saw them a few weeks ago at Kecskemet in action, v.impressive!
I must get access to a scanner to show those photos...

"Stupendious", as Jimmy Durante used to say.;D
And it's true- it's so very hard to shoot stuff like that. But you've got a pretty good sampling, there.

Sorry, I've tried to catch them together several times but nothing worth posting so far.

Just like to add.
The girls didn't touch as the commentator went crazy and said they did but i was looking at them through bino's at the time.

Thanks for confirming that. I suspected as much but it makes a nice story. You can see from my shot that they weren't far apart. They have actually done it in the past but I've never seen it at a show. Different girls but I think it was an official record at the time.

Speaking of the girls you can see the current team here. http://www.aerosuperbatics.com/
