Spent two nights at Doug and Lyell's place last weekend; did a little work on the house, but mostly relaxed. Took a few pictures, too.  ;D
First set is from a dawn excursion to the beach with Peg (the Wonder-Rotty!) on Saturday...

These are some beautiful pictures.  Nothing like taking a early walk on a Jersey beach.  

Wonderful shots rotty...very relaxing

Here they will rake or groom the beaches.  Do they do that there?

They also groom the snowmobile trails and nature trails.

Yes, this beach is pretty well-maintained... they drag a heavy pipe crosswise behind a truck to smooth it, and it's patrolled for litter regularly. The locals are good about minimizing their impact, too. Dogs are normally not allowed, but I snuck Peg in there before official opening time. She didn't poop there, but if she had I would've disposed of it...
