Ouch. Driver's side too. I didn't realise that.

Maybe this doesn't seem so bad now you've had time to think about it. I think you were both extremely lucky not to be seriously injured. It's easy for me to say but be thankful for that & look on the bright side. Put it down to experience. I hope this hasn't shaken your confidence.

I've been driving with my dad the whole day and we also got a rented car for me (Ford Focus). Sadly, I'll have to go to Hannover earlier than I wanted - right on my girlfriend's birthday. My dad won't let me drive those 400 Kms alone.

I've been driving with my dad the whole day and we also got a rented car for me (Ford Focus). Sadly, I'll have to go to Hannover earlier than I wanted - right on my girlfriend's birthday. My dad won't let me drive those 400 Kms alone.

Thats because of the rules... probably rented on his own name so he can pay less

that doesn't look like fun, sounds like the car did its job though (saving you)

how is the car? is the door and glass just messed up or is the chasis bent too?
