Everytime I try to resize it using Iview, it is never small enough to upload, and also it never shows up on Simv because its .bmp

Try saving out from IrfanView in JPEG format. File/Save As/JPEG - JPG Files. This is a compressed format that considerably reduces the file size. You can adjust the compression from the Save quality slider if necessary. In this case I used something like 95% quality.

I dont see where you do that.

Like this. Click File/Save As on the menu bar. Select the format from the 'Save as type' arrow. Give the new file whatever name you wish. Adjust the quality slider as necessary then click Save.



Might be an idea to get the latest version of IrfanView while you're about it. http://www.irfanview.com/

Most graphics editors work in much the same way. Even M$ Paint.

But paint I cant resize like in Iview.

Anyway I figered it out.

Glad we got that sorted. I'll help anyone that asks but a word of thanks wouldn't go amiss.

I wasn't suggesting you use that awful M$ Paint. Simply pointing out that the Save As options work in the same way.

Ok, now I can't get the file sizes down low enough
