Liverpool Dakota

Just found out that Liverpool John Lennon Airport now has a Douglas C-47A-75-DL Dakota in its residency,

Heres the article that first alerted me to this discovery,

Nothing unusual Sock. FAA registered aircraft are common in the UK these days. I have no idea why.

Probably something to do with avoiding lining the overfilled pockets of the CAA! ;D
