I was just wondering how many days the pilot has to starve himself for to be sure it'll get off the ground ;D

Woohoo!! CriCri!!  8) :D Don't worry; it was real. If it were a hallucination, it'd be pink, right...?;D
I like those little planes- thanx for putting a smile on my face after a particularly annoying day!  ;D

If I recall correctly it's a Cri-Cri, the smallest aircraft with two engines.

FS9 version right here. http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props17.htm

It's certainly cute & I believe its quite aerobatic. Surprisingly difficult to photograph as it's so tiny. He really did disappear. When I went back a few minutes later to get some decent static shots there was no sign it had ever been there.

PS. In case you're wondering the first shot is genuine & not an edit. I never edit my photos except for a little enhancement if they need it. I just managed a quick snapshot as they flew past in formation without warning.

I didn't see him get out but I'm sure he's a perfectly fit man. The engines being mounted on outriggers gives more room in the fuselage for the pilot's legs, rather like a glider. http://www.cricri.co.uk/

PS. This one (G-SHOG) was originally used by the Mitsubishi Shogun display team. http://members.lycos.nl/aviator/aviation/images/G-SHOG-12982-big.jpg

Ah, there you have me. Not sure I've ever seen a mugshot of Roger.

Where did you take these lovely shots then?

A very special day at Popham. I might post more later.

Glad you like my shots. ;)
