OK a small preview of holiday stuff (sorry no planes, as the Ju-52 flew too high and i don't have a Zenit E with telelens yet) and some assorted stuff from the camera testrun.

More soon (including another nice wall mosaic from Potsdam...)

Every year my hometown hosts the National Mudrace championship...

Image
Windmills, green pastures, blue sky...

Image
And LOADS of black smelly mud (as the whole week before was quite a wet one)

both scanned from photo, with a crappy scanner
camera settings:
1st one: shutter 1/60, aperture 8
2nd one:  shutter 1/125, aperture on 8

Holiday pics... with the new digital camera. I am the only one that is still using a classic camera now
Image
Eisenach railway station window. Once the hometown of the EMW factory that made the Wartburg car...

Image
Soon-to-be gone Kulturpalast in Dresden. Plans are to replace this one with a semi-historical building that resembles the one that stood here before 1945.

Image
My room... with the usual messy desk. Large monitor is the one i use for flightsim, together with the bigtower case.
Camera settings:
Shutter 1/30
Aperture 2,8
Used the selftimer and a small drawer as tripod

not at all, I still try to use my SLR as often as i can, as i get better prints with it than any of my other cameras, its just getting too expensive to buy and develop film these days.

Some nice pictures:)

Same with the city castle in Berlin.
It's just a complete waste of money...and the buildings from socialist times don't even look that badly.
