Here's some of the civilian aircraft taking part.

Denny Dobson arrives in his Extra 300. The wind's from the north so no chance of approach shots just yet.

Ah, the wind's changed so off to my favourite spot. Returning from Eastbourne he did a fast run with smoke on but approached so darned low behind the bushes I didn't get a chance to focus. Got this when he was landing.

The Patrouille RIVA. French aerobatic duo. There's another one just like it behind this one. These chaps put on a fantastic display of precision aerobatics. Hope they give us a preview tomorrow.

I missed a great shot of the first one coming back from the show. He crept up on me. Well, to be honest I wasn't paying attention. ;) Just caught this one. Must try harder. ::) ;)

Nice Yak 52. Missed this one coming back too. ::)

Of course, the normal flying doesn't stop. I took these while I was hanging around on the fence.

Hope the weather holds & the wind's in the same direction tomorrow.

Thanks Jimbo. Of course I don't mind you asking. That's the local Chipmunk.

PS. I can hear Bjorn groaning from here. Some people have no taste. ::) :P ;)

Indeed Ashar. Not the reason this time as I was alone but I usually spend too much time chattering. You need eyes in the back of your head for this lark. ::) :D

Thanks but they're far from my best. Yes I got them but I hoped to do better. My efforts are a tad disappointing after last year & that was with my old camera.

Did you see the Spitfire?
