Interesting Jimbo. Just the one?

My first answer was total codswallop... So...

Looks like the Duxford based B17 G "Sally B" (left) and maybe Duxford's own "Mary Alice" at some point in the early 90s... Failing that I'd say it would probably be around 1989 and the filming of "Memphis Belle", particularly with the Buchon (presumably of the Old Flying Machine Company) in the background. That would probably suggest the other B17 was either a US based example or French based "Pink Lady" in different markings...

Depends on the programs you used to process & save them. I always copy the file names from the upload boxes & paste them to the end of the path. No mistakes that way.

I can tell you the types but Charlie can be more specific on the aircraft. #4 is the V1 Doodlebug on static display at Duxford. Strangely enough I posted a very similar shot of it here some time ago.

Aha. Amiot licence built Ju-52, Airspeed Oxford and the tail of the HP Hastings in no. 2.

No idea what no.3 is! ;) ;D

Five, interestingly enough is now owned by Paul Allen of Microsoft, but was formerly known as "Grumpy" with TFC at Duxford, and in the bottom right of the photo I'd suggest is either a MkV or Mk XIV Spifire...

I always had a soft spot for old Grumpy. :D

You forgot to mention it's a B-25 Mitchell.

#4 is a V-1 "buzz bomb", if anyone doesn't know. Powered by a simple pulse-jet engine and guided by what was basically a clockwork mechanism with a gyro and a couple of pendulums, and packing over 800kg of explosives, it was the first real cruise missile. Here is a link to a very cool page about them that I just found.

BTW; thanks for sharing, Jimbo!! ;D
