Last from the zoo: sea lions. Waited a long time for any of them to surface; finally caught a brief glimpse:
Then, one suddenly hauled itself out and struck the most regal pose!:D
Down near Battery Park: a Park Service patrol boat:
One of a few monstrous speedboats that give rides to tourists at something like 40 kts (gotta try that, sometime...)
Lookout, fish, here comes trouble!!
Stopped at Francesca's on the way home and picked up a big chicken parm sub; also got a six pack of icy-cold beer(Corona, for when you want to drink beer like it was water!).
Aahhh....not a bad day, even if I didn't get to go flying this weekend...
