Ah, some shots from Oshkosh at last.

Got a couple of disapproving looks for THIS one!
Can't say I'm surprised. You would have got more than a disapproving look from me.

Want a new Pitts?
Don't mind if I do. Think the first one's a Christen Eagle.

Nice...please post as many Air Venture photos as you can. It's a not to miss event!
Sad a P-51 crashed with the pilot (forget his name) killled. I think that in the arrivals for this years Air Venture, 6 people lost their lives! :(

Oh yeah, Airventure pics!!
Very nice so far... but I do have to be a wet blanket and join in the finger-wagging about putting the kids in some stranger's plane without permission...yes, there should be a "don't touch" sign or whatever, but if the owner isn't arround, it's common courtesy to assume that one should not touch, let alone get inside. I'm sure your two did no harm, but if others see that, next thing you know the airplane is seeing more action than a coin-operated horsie outside the supermarket... and that's when stuff gets broken.
However... if the owner is present, even if there's a "keep out/don't touch" sign, nine times out of ten, if you ask nice, they'll be delighted to let the youngins scamper all over the plane.... under their waatchful eye.

It was a dealer, not a private plane and I did get permission first, they just didn't like it and were too polite to say no... ;)

Well, the heck with them... why give permission, and then pout? And don't they want to sell airplanes? Sorry I doubted your airplane etiquette...
