Stearman

These photos were taken at Liverpool Airport (EGGP) sometime last year. Its my first attempt with a digital camera.

Image Yes i know there is a fire extinguisher in this pic its needed if too much fuel gathers in the exhaust pipe and it produces a nice flame.

Very nice. I like the moody atmosphere of shot #2. Can't say I've ever been to Liverpool.

This aircraft was first built in 1942 and sometime after the war was used on the civilian fields until it was brought over to the U.K were a team of engineers at Liverpool Airport rebuilt it and it is still flying today.

This aircraft is powered by a LYCOMING R-680-E3A engine as opposed to a Continental engine of the same rating.
