Went from sun to this in a matter of minutes.  Still a little ways away but its going to be a nasty one.  Already wind gusts are up 30-40 mph :o

I'm sitting in that little white rectangle somwhere close to the red dot.

These shots were taken right after I got the radar.  So its still off in the distance but already this is what we have :o

Taken about a couple minutes after the first.  Nearly got hit by a falling limb a few seconds later.

Its a nice break from the heat.  But these severe storms are becoming a nightly occurence.  We need rain but not the high winds and possible hail  :-/

777, you live in Warsaw?!  I was born in Plymouth, my sister lives in Ft. Wayne, and my parents recently moved from Warsar to Rochester!

it's a small world, but I'd hate to paint it!  ;D

LoL.  15 miles south of Warsaw in North Manchester...That little white box on the radar ;)

Crazy storm.  It acualy broke up a little and the worst went around us.  Lightning and wind were the only bad things.  A couple of hours later though, another storm came by and made up for what the other missed.  More wind, tons of lightning, very heavy rain, and even a little hail.  But its all over...for now :P  Streets were nearly impassible for awhile after the second one.  Had to stop and move a lot of tree limbs and junk from peoples yards just to get to the store.

Sounds like the next few days will be the same way.  Hot humid day and then a 4-5 PM storm that cools things back to 70-75...Think this may be the first time in history you can somewhat predict Indiana weather :P

Won't hear anything probably till tommarows paper, but it sounds like lightning struck a house a couple of blocks over from us and it caught fire.  First time thats happened since we moved here :-/

I had to sit in my truck for two hours instead of work because of that storm that morning!  It was amazing as it went through. :P ;)
