- like the title said,

A few random shots from my hols:

A Halifax at the Yorkshire Aircraft Museum. This used to be RAF Elvington - a WW2 bomber command station:

A DC3 just outside the main hangar at the museum:

The RAF Bomb Disposal Memorial at Eden Camp, Yorkshire - Eden Camp was a P.O.W. camp during WW2:

Whitby Abbey on the headland. The beach is Whitby beach, this is where Dracula's steam ship 'Demeter' ran aground in Bram Stokers book:

Our lodge thingy whilst we were away:

Very interesting TSC. I shall have to visit Elvington next time I'm up that way. My last visit was in the 80s & it was a tad different then. Can't say I've ever been to Whitby.

LOL - it's just a bog standard, getting old 5 series - nice on the motorways though. As for the plates, I have to do that to stop Gnatman trying to race me at the traffic lights!!

Nice shots!
Did you know that Bram Stoker was an Australian, whose brother was the Captain of the AE2, the Australian submarine that sunk inside the Dardanelles?
Interesting, eh?

Nice Halifax, btw!!
