Well as I'm off work this week I thought it would be nice to pop over to sunny Lincolnshire for the day. Here are a few pics I took at the Lincs Aviation Heritage Centre and at RAF Coningsby.

MJ627 has been at East Kirkby for a few years now since returning to the air after its wheels up landing back in the late 90's

I was inside the BBMF hanger when a couple of single seat Typhoons flew in closely followed by two F-15Es and I was inside and missed the shot. ::)

Nice one Tempest old chap. East Kirkby is one place I would dearly love to visit.

Very nice Mr T. East Kirkby is always worth a visit. Amazingly having visited several Coningsby airshows in the 80s, and living within 20 miles for several years, I've never been in the BBMF visitor centre. Nice to see the Typhoons out on the line... ;D

I wish I'd caught the ones that flew in!
Hagar pal, if you are ever in Lincolnshire East Kirkby is well worth a visit. I'm going again on July 30th for the Lancaster taxi run and Spitfire flying display ;D
