These guys have a new fan in me. I must admit i felt sorry for them, going on pretty soon after the red arrows. But they did a great job.

staggerwing. Was an ok display, ended up being an annoying ego trip on the part of the owner who was doing commentary.

this was a cool display, however he was on right after the typhoon which meant the crowds were already leaving.

Very nice Craig. Nice to see the Staggerwing out and about a bit more than with its previous owner though...

Nice one Craig. Which team is that?

staggerwing. Was an ok display, ended up being an annoying ego trip on the part of the owner who was doing commentary.

Peter Teichman. Quite new to the display circuit so he can only improve. Not much you can do with a Staggerwing but it's nice to see it. He also owns & flies immaculate P-51D "Jumpin' Jacques" & Spitfire Mk XI PL965.

this was a cool display,

Flown by LCol Ruud Huisman. I met him & the team at Shoreham last year & he's darned good. Jolly nice chap too. Told me he joined the RNAF in 1980 & started on helicopters. He was one of the Grasshoppers helicopter display team in 1985.

thanks guys.
Thats the breitling display team from france. All their formations are named after the watches.

He also owns & flies immaculate P-51D "Jumpin' Jacques" & Spitfire Mk XI PL965.
Jumpin jacques was also there and did a display. these were what the ego trip was about, running down every plane he owns how they cost alot, blah blah blah ::) :)

That's what all aircraft owners do LOL ;D Not surprised with the costs involved nowadays. Without people like him we wouldn't get to see all these wonderful vintage aircraft.
