What a super day out & all those memories came flooding back. Just like old times & I met lots of people I haven't seen for over 40 years. Bliss for an old gasbag like me. 8)
The airfield was full of aircraft & not all Beagles by any means. Here's some other types for a change.

Saw this at Dunsfold last week. Got some decent shots this time. ;)

This looks familiar. A visitor from Duxford. Used to be a common sight back in the 60s.

Oops, one of Hagar's famous carrot-chops. Still, it's different. :D

Anyone know what this is?

The local Stampe as a bonus.

That's what I thought when I took the shots. It's actually a PA-16 Clipper. If you look carefully it's written on the fin. Not difficult to check the registration but I wasn't sure without looking it up.

Quite similar to the Piper Colt which is owned by a friend of mine, here on Vancouver Island and ties down at Courtenay Airpark.......one of the "short wing" Pipers, the Clipper normally is a lower powered version than the Colt.
