Farewell Valkenburg part2 Vintage stuff.

There was also a small selection of vintage planes. All of them based in the Netherlands or In case of Fifi Kate temporarily at least.

First off the Beautifull Fifi Kate DC-3

The lovely Spit (with eclipesed wings now!)

The Harvard with a sound that instantly puts a smile on your face

This was what was on display in the vintage section. Next up in Part 3 some modern day birds. Orions, Atlantique's and A Nimrod!

Nice. I noticed the Nimrod sneaking into the B25 pic!

One day there won't be any clipped wing Spits left if all the owners bolt wingtips on them! :)

Well done Souichiro...four of them I can relate to.

The Dak, the Beech, the Harvard and "the pig boat" the Canso. :)

Certainly brought back some memories ;)

Very nice shots...thanks

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

There we have that B-25 again from Eindhoven. I'll never forget him crossing the pattern when I was flying a downwind leg at EBZR. He crossed beneeth me.  >:( Some nice shots though. Sad the spit isn't entirely on the photo.
Raw power...the J-58.

I had a nice paper photo of that (exactly that one) Spit, seen it in Hoexter, but it had clipped wings than. He flew well that day.
