I do it manually, been meaning to write a program that would do it automatically for me..

It's not just desktops. Any topic where people keep adding images will soon exceed the forum limit of 500 Kb per thread. This has been tried before & unfortunately doesn't work. Not everyone is as careful as you to keep to the image limit of 100 Kb either.

PS. My desktop has more icons that that.
