thanks:) for those, who are interested this is actually a victorian town which has workers dress up in victorian era clothing and basically act out the day as though it were. was pretty funny listening to a policeman and cobbler arguing about queen victoria in the middle of the street.

Very nice shots Craig. Hope you enjoyed it. I found it a fascinating place. The town is named Ironbridge after the bridge which was the the first iron bridge in the world, built in 1779. http://www.virtual-shropshire.co.uk/ironbridge-gorge-museum/

They should have given you a map of the site with your tickets. I still have mine somewhere but it's tucked away in the back of a drawer somewhere. The vertical drop from the canal to the river is 207 feet. Without it you would need to go through multiple locks.
