The only place in the world where you can see a hanging 727...  :)

This is a combination of 2 pics.  For some reason, I couldn't work out the smoothing on them.   ::)  The plane in the foreground is the Boeing B-40.

Cool thing, BTW...  Everything on the 727 works.  The spoilers and flaps function during the 7 minute presentation, as do the gear, speed brakes, thrust reversers, and rudder.  :)

awesome. Little worried about a 70 ton aircraft hanging from the ceiling though.

It's also supported by beams from the floor. The interior is open and you can walk inside of the thing.  Remember too, the thing has been gutted, the engines removed, and one wing is missing.  I'm sure they trimmed weight anywhere they could.  ;)

The fact that its hanging makes it look smaller somehow. Cool shots though! :)
