Escape from the island.....

As most people don't realize, when you live on an island, you are more or less trapped and held for randsom whenever there is a strike by ferry workers.....lucky for us, on this weekend trip, we had no worries and got away in fine form.........

As we sit and wait for the ferry, I'm treated to this familiar sight just outside the windows of the terminal....

Here comes our ferry........three vehicle decks holding cars, trucks and buses......lots of passengers upstairs and moving accordingly...........slow

Beautiful scenery - another stop added to my planned mega tour of the US and Canada... :)

Beachcombers usually drag 'em off to a mill.....good big ones don't stay for long.........

The driftwood logs are all break-aways from booms on the way to the mill........
