Rottydaddy - Anybody ever seen a full-circle one while in flight? It's incredible.
Seen them, just as you get above a cloud layer you can see them reflecting off it. They're actually called a
Glory and they're caused by the diffraction of light in the cloud's water droplets. The center of the
glory you can see is actually wherever you're sitting on the plane.
