My lowly desktop among two "rovers"!

And on the left we have an IBM 390E 333mhz processing power, 2.5mb video card ram! 196mb RAM, 6GB hard drive. All running windows 98SE!

In the middle we have the standard athlon 3000XP+, 256MB video card ram, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, 2 40GB hard disks.... see below for specs on the last pc...




My ne wpride and joy the Emachines 2350...which contains an athalon 2800XP+, 15.4" widescreen LCD, integrated ATI radeon IGP 3200, 512MB DDR SDRAM, 60GB 5400rpm HD, DVD/CD-RW, one firewire port, 4 usb 2.0 ports, integrated fax/modem, integrated 10/100 NIC, integrated 802.11G wireless LAN, and of course, it's all running windows XP Home....

As far as doing photo editing and stuff like that this pc is just as good as my desktop which is slightly better...performance results with the sim are to come..

  I actually have 7 PC's around here, but only 2 of them are being used right now, the rest are stored away, some of them are old and wouldn't be good for much but at least two of the PC's in storage could be utilized for something if I needed them.

LOL, nope, none of them PC's are integrated just all sitting on the same desk.  Now if I wanted to I could use the other two for flight sim instruments, radios etc. since I can network em all together with the hub mounted behind the desk!

Yep, I've only got three, getting ready to get rid of the old IBM 390 sometime next week if my buddy gets me some money soon..

Well lately with this time change I'm not feeling too well and consequently I've let myself go...

that's right, old work pants....dirty socks....unkept hair....you get the picture.. ;-)

I just realized that I've got 64MB video RAM! Since it's integrated it take 64MB out of my 512MB RAM but still......


I just hope there is enough wireless signal in the buildings I spend most of my time in so I don't have to go to another building just to get on my pc..;-)

Perhaps I'll have to by a wireless router for the pc lab I spend my days in when not in class...

I wish we were all wireless like Akron university.. :-(
