Here's a few shots I took at Shoreham today. Nothing too exotic. Just a typical holiday weekend. Add a little sunshine & the old airport comes to life. Spring is here at last. :D

Some very nice shots there Doug. Nice colours on the the Tomahawk, and some of the others too! :)

Must meander down to Shoreham on weekend...

Chippies rock 8)
I'm a little concerned about G-AXNNs U/C, it appears to only have 2 wheels ;D

Hmm. I hadn't noticed that. Have to be more careful what I post in future if you're gonna be picky. :P :D

I was more concerned about the main oleo struts. They looked a little tired & saggy to me. I used to overhaul them & they're right little so & sos. The nose strut isn't much better come to think of it. ::)

I hope his prop is made out of rubber ;D ;D ;D
Mind you I've had the misfortune to see breasts that are more saggy than that U/C, there really should be a law against the over 35s DD brigade sunbathing topless :o ;D

Great shots Doug.

Looks like you have some admirers in shot 1.

They know they're safe enough up there. ::) One look at me is enough to see I'm harmless anyway. :D

What a nice variation of aircraft you've got at Shoreham. I wish I could meet those amounts of aircraft in Weinheim (EDGZ; mainly sailplanes).  :P

It's a Britten Norman Trislander. 3-engined stretched version of the Islander. They use them on the Channel Island service. Very interesting but I'm not too keen on the look of it myself. I suspect they pinched the idea from the DC-10.
